About the Artist

Christina Muscato’s artistic story starts in her grandparents’ home in Upstate New York. There, as just a child, she learned the basics of being creative -- whether it was sewing, drawing, building things from wood, or nurturing flowers in the garden. She was encouraged to tap into her senses — and somewhere along the way, as a natural empath keenly aware of others’ emotions, the shy child-like part of her recognized the impact of using her creative skills to lift others’ moods and create a moment of connection. She channeled her passion for this into hand-making individual greeting cards from a young age, and crafting uniquely personal gifts for family members, friends or others who were special to her. And in her work today, she still strives to have the same effect — whether it’s illustrating colorful wallpaper to brighten someone’s home life or making someone’s product connect to an audience in a special way with the help of artwork.

IN THE PRESS - INTERVIEW FEATURE

Christina spends her time listening to 1950s and '60s music, likes to observe the intricacies in her everyday environment, and often ponders the larger mysteries of the world late at night. She prides herself on her giving heart, and has felt most fulfilled in life while on a month-long trip to Africa with her friends helping children recover after surgeries, or while connecting with the homeless, and donating designs to nonprofit organizations.
